What a great
twenty-two years
it’s been in this business. I’ve traveled through
North America,
England, and France, searching for just the right antiques and pieces for new lamp
creations. After all these years, I still continue to be
inspired,
always looking forward to the next project and finding the next antique.ABOUT US
We specialize in custom made one-of-a-kind lamps, Continental European
antique furniture and decorative accessories.
OUR PRODUCTS
Lamps:
Our high quality custom made lamps integrate:
- Objects
of
design - antique, vintage or unique decorative
accessories, including tins, figurines, teapots, bottles, vases, urns,
jade, soapstone, copper, and ironstone.
- Bases - Hand
turned hardwood, to anchor the object and house the wiring. Are
painted, stained, rubbed through, painted, marbleized or faux finished.
- Lampshades - Fabric Shades:
(ready-made or custom made) lined, using silk, linen, skin, simulated
skin, cotton, etc., can be stretched, pleated, shirred or smocked. Hardback:
shades (ready-made or custom made) parchment, skin, paper, painted or
faux finished, or custom covered with fabric.
- Finials - brass,
crystal, pewter, bronze-finished, porcelain, or gemstone.
- Lampshade
Trim - braid, soutache, French gimp, woven ribbon,
fringe, metallic, beading or French ribbon.
Furniture: You may find an
18th century Louis XV armoire with hand carved detail, a 19th century
Louis Philippe cherry wood buffet, a 19th century French vaisellier de
buffet with burled doors and inlay, a small English leather topped 19th
century mahogany desk, or a 19th century Honduras mahogany writing
table.
Decorative Accessories: Adding accessories
makes a house a home. Enjoy colorful ironstone decorated 19th century
plates, antique boxes, Louis Philippe mirror, tole tray on stand, Deco
brass planter, framed hand-colored engravings of golfers.
